Dinner out--All you can eat BBQ
Chris wanted me to try the all-you-can-eat-and drink BBQ place he'd gone to earlier in the month with friends. By BBQ, I should clarify. In Asia, this does not mean BBQ sauce or BBQ-style cooking that we in the States would affiliate it with. What it means is that raw meats are delivered to your table, where you grill them yourself on a small table top grill. Choices are thinly sliced beef, chicken, pork, veggies and even gizzards! (Yes gizzards. Chris ate them, I didn't!) It would be 3000 yen per person (under $30USD) for all you could eat and drink and dessert for 90 minutes. At 20 minutes before the end you are given last call to order your last meats. At exactly the end you are asked to leave! It helps to speak the language well as Chris can, so you don't waste time ordering and your food is brought quickly.
