Breakfast with Chris, courtesy Lawson.
On the weekends, I'd get dressed and come over to have breakfast with Chris. Because there is a LAWSON nearby, (like a 7-11 but lots of good drinks and Japanese snacks) I would stop in or meet Chris there first to get snacks and coffee. Oddly, all the breakfast pastries are mixed up with the lunch snacks, and I almost bought a pizza roll for breakfast if I had not had Chris there translating.Everything was fresh baked too, even though it was pre-packaged. And the sushi and rolls (triangle shaped (what is the name, Chris?) so good! Where else would I get an ikura roll (salmon roe) AND a blueberry puff pastry and coffee for breakfast?
I keep wearing my kimono out sightseeing because it is sooooo comfortable!
And here is breakfast with Chris! And by the way, Chris' room is soooooo stuffy. When I come in I open the window, but the sound of the traffic outside bothers him so he always closes it. He also thinks passersby below are peeping into his room but I assured him, you can't see anything from the street looking up to the second floor--I tested it!
Anyway, he kept closing the window when I opened it and so we settled on a small compromise. Let's leave it open just a crack, at least to get some fresh air! Please note how neat his desk and room are... I am hoping he can maintain the CLEAN during the remaining months he is there!
