Daiso Here We Come

As noted during my last trip to Japan, a super fun store and one not to be missed is Daiso.  The boys introduced me to it. Now Daiso in Japan is a lot different than the ones they have opened around the world. Everything at a Daiso is 100 yen, about .95 cents presently. Unless marked. But they are not usually more than 200-300.  I challenge anyone to not enter a Daiso and spend at least 2000 yen. In addition to cute little jim-cracks, they have some really good stuff!

Among my Daiso items... a boys' day flag, two good quality knives, some funny sushi keychains and magnets, some sushi themed finger towels, a rattle-ball puzzle and a pair of croc knock offs. Yes, it all fit in my luggage!

You can also get REALLY cheap but great quality dishes and serving ware. It's so much fun to go and peruse at Daiso. Turns out the Daiso is not far from Chris' dorm...
