Goodbye Chris

Awe. Parting is such sweet sorrow. I started getting really sad as we arrived to the station. But we still had about two hours to hang out before the train left. Chris accompanied me with a special pass beyond the paid gate.

He then suggested a "great little cafe" where he had eaten before. Little did I know it was a smoking restaurant! GAG! After about the 4th smoker lit up next to us,  I had to leave and wait for Chris outside. Chris said he didn't care and was used to eating next to smokers. GROSS.

This was the place. You can see that guy sitting at the bar behind Chris was smoking, as were some people who came and sat on all sides of us! GROSS!!!! How could he stand it???

Chris convinced me that I could easily take the train by myself to Kansei and he did not need to escort me. It would have been $60 RT for Chris to escort me. I would rather give that money to him for his kimono. So I put my big girl pants on and did it. It exits right at the airport, super easy.  The clack clack clacking of the train is so relaxing. We waited for them to clean the train and reverse all the seats before boarding as it was headed the other way.

He consented to one last selfie before departure.

Here's the last I saw of Chris as my train was leaving, sob. He looks so grown up and well dressed. It should be noted that I forced him to wait until my train left.

Goodbye Chris, and thank you so much. Love you so much!
