Hirano-jinja Temple--Closed
Before BBQ, we rode the bus up early to see the Hirano-jinja, which is one of the ones where sakura season is celebrated. In fact, Chris took these photos of it the week before I arrived and I thought it was cool, I asked him to take me back.
However, when we got there, about 15 mins walk from the BBQ place, the temple was closed and the festival was over. I still got some nice shots, mainly of Chris and me walking around and of the little residential street nearby. It was SO COLD here. I think the coldest night I had in Kyoto. I'd guess the temperature to be in the low 40s.
